Per person, per group, per vehicle — the detail that changes everything
Group tours price per person and suit solo travellers and couples. Private tours price per group — and this is where the maths surprises people: a private Berat day at €190 per group costs four friends about €48 each, less than most group listings, with hotel pick-up and total flexibility. Transfers price per vehicle. Rule of thumb: at three or more people, always ask us for the private price before booking a group seat.
How the season moves prices
Rates are broadly stable, but availability is not. July–August and New Year weeks sell out the popular departures (Bovilla, Shala, cooking class) 1–2 weeks ahead, and Shala weekends carry high-season pricing. November–March is the insider's window: city and culture experiences run as normal, prices soften on some private tours, and Tirana's winter calendar (Christmas Village, film festival) fills the evenings. Mountain experiences — Bovilla, quad, paragliding, Theth, Osumi, Shala — pause or reduce November to March/April.

Why are some experiences per group and others per person?
Group tours sell seats (per person); private tours sell the vehicle and guide (per group); transfers sell the car (per vehicle). At 3+ travellers, the private per-group option often beats group seats per head — always ask us.
Do prices drop in winter?
Some private tours soften November–March, and availability is far easier. The city experiences (cooking, communist tour, pub crawl, Berat, Krujë) run all year at stable prices; the mountain experiences pause for winter entirely.
Are your prices higher than booking direct?
No — the confirmed quote is the operator's direct rate. We are paid a referral commission by operators, never a markup to you. Where an OTA undercuts a product (some high-volume group tours), we say so openly.
