The itinerary
Day 1: Tirana to Shkodra: Rozafa castle, the pedestrian boulevard, the Marubi photo museum, Lake Skadar shore at sunset. Night in Shkodra. Day 2: the Komani Lake ferry through the gorges to Fierza, then into the Valbona valley — riverside walk, dinner and night in a mountain guesthouse. Day 3: morning in the valley or (in season, by 4x4) over to Theth for the village and waterfall; back to Tirana by evening.
