The itinerary
Day 1: Tirana to Shkodra — Rozafa castle, boulevard, Lake Skadar shore. Day 2: Komani ferry and the Valbona valley, night in a mountain guesthouse. Day 3: south to Berat (castle, quarters, wine stop) and on to Gjirokastër. Day 4: Butrint early, then the Riviera — Ksamil swim, Saranda promenade, night on the coast. Day 5: the Llogara pass road north with beach stops at Himara or Dhërmi, back in Tirana by evening.

Why 5 days is the sweet spot
The extra day over the 4-day circuit goes entirely to the Riviera — which is where rushed tours hurt most. You get the Llogara at the right light, a slow morning in Ksamil, dinner by the water. Same highlights, half the hurry.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the 4-day tour?
Same route, one extra day on the Riviera. If the sea matters to you, take this one; if you are tighter on time, the 4-day works.
Can we add the Valbona–Theth trek?
The full 8-hour trek does not fit this itinerary — for that, combine the Theth & Valbona 3-day tour with the Riviera 3-day tour, or ask for a custom 7-day plan.
What is included in the price?
Vehicle, driver-guide, 4 nights with breakfast, ferry tickets, all logistics. Lunches, dinners and entrance fees are extra (budget roughly €20–30/day).
Solo traveller or couple?
