Four days is the shortest honest answer to "how long for Albania?": two days in the mountains, two on the southern circuit, zero time wasted on logistics.
The itinerary
Day 1: Tirana to Shkodra (Rozafa castle, boulevard) and on to the Alps gateway — night in the Shkodra area. Day 2: the Komani Lake ferry through the gorges, the Valbona valley, night in a mountain guesthouse. Day 3: south to Berat — castle, Mangalem, wine-country lunch — then on to Gjirokastër for the stone city at sunset. Day 4: Butrint in the morning, Ksamil and Saranda for a last swim, then the Llogara road back to Tirana by evening.

Frequently asked questions
Is 4 days enough for Albania?
For the highlights, yes — you will see the Alps, two UNESCO cities, the Riviera and Butrint. You will not lounge: if you want slower travel, take the 5-day or 7-day versions.
How much driving?
The longest leg is day 3 (about 4 hours total, split by Berat). The vehicle is comfortable and stops are flexible.
What accommodation standard?
Clean family hotels and guesthouses with private bathrooms and breakfast. Boutique upgrades available on request.
Can we start/end outside Tirana?
Yes — airport pick-up on day 1 or a finish in Saranda/Corfu are common custom options. Ask on WhatsApp.
