The Riviera in one day is a race; in three days it is a holiday. Two nights on the coast, swims every day, and Butrint in the morning quiet — this is the southern Albania people move here for.
The itinerary
Day 1: Tirana south over the Llogara pass (the view over the Ionian is worth the drive alone), down to Dhërmi and Himara for beach time. Night on the coast. Day 2: Porto Palermo castle bay, then Ksamil — swim, boat to the islands, sunset over the channel. Night in Saranda area. Day 3: Butrint archaeological park in the morning, the Blue Eye spring if time allows, and the mountain road back to Tirana by evening.

The right pace for the coast
Day tours from Tirana touch one beach and turn around. Three days means the Llogara at golden hour, a slow morning in Himara, dinner with your feet almost in the water. It also means Butrint at 9:00, before the heat and the crowds — the version of the ruins worth seeing.
When to go and how to book
May to October; June and September give warm sea and breathing room. July–August is glorious but busy — book early. Dates and group size on WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
What hotels do we stay in?
Small family hotels and guesthouses on the coast (Dhërmi/Himara and Saranda area), private bathrooms, breakfast included. Upgrades to boutique hotels available on request.
Is there real beach time?
That is the point: at least 3–4 hours of sea every day, not a photo stop. Bring sunscreen and low expectations about leaving.
Can we skip Butrint for more beach?
Yes — private means the itinerary flexes. Some groups trade the ruins for a boat day in Ksamil. Tell us on WhatsApp.
Can the tour end in Saranda or Corfu?
Yes — ending in Saranda (or with the Corfu ferry) is a common custom option. We quote it on request.
