How the day works
Pick-up around 8:30, then 1h45 north to Rozafa Castle for the legend and the three-river panorama. Down to the city for the pedestrian boulevard, the Marubi photography museum area and lunch — northern grilling at its best. In the afternoon, the shores of Lake Skadar at Shiroka or Zogaj: fishermen, water lilies, and the Montenegrin mountains floating on the far side. Home by early evening.

Group Shkodra tours give you the castle and 40 minutes downtown. Private, the afternoon is yours: a slow lunch, the lake shore, a boatman in Zogaj if you fancy 30 minutes on the water (a few euros, arranged on the spot). It is the difference between seeing Shkodra and spending a day in it.

Can we take a boat on the lake?
Yes — local boatmen in Zogaj or Shiroka do short trips for a few euros per person, arranged on the spot. Tell your driver and he will fit it in.
